Our program offers intensive English instruction, cultural orientation, and academic preparation for students, scholars, and professionals on a year-round basis. Many, though not all, of our students begin study in undergraduate or graduate programs at UNCG or other local universities as soon as they complete INTERLINK.
The INTERLINK center is located in the Foust Building (Administration Drive) on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). A public institution for higher learning, UNCG is a member of the University of North Carolina system. The university offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
INTERLINK is a challenging program involving assignments such as interviews, Internet searches, and library research. Our students enjoy full access to the people and facilities of the university, including opportunities to meet students and professors, to visit classes, and to experience life on a university campus. INTERLINK also organizes field trips and outside-of-class activities that allow our students to learn firsthand about our community and state. At INTERLINK, you will meet people from many different countries and cultures. You will learn more about the world, and, in the process, you will learn more about yourself.
INTERLINK is well-known and respected in North Carolina. Our recommendations are valued when you apply for study at a university or college in this area. In fact, a variety of local institutions accept completion of INTERLINK in place of the TOEFL since they know that students who finish the INTERLINK program are well-qualified to pursue academic study in an English-speaking environment.
